Shannon is the mother of two young children, a daughter and son, both diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Her son also has an expressive-receptive speech disorder. Shannon is a graduate of Penn State University and an outspoken advocate for her children. She is dedicated to promoting acceptance, raising awareness, and enjoys helping other families with children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with speech challenges.
